I think you are completely wrong
It is true that you are talking about alien attacks and ranged predators attacks, but an experienced alien is more than capable of making a difference in gameplay and kill count compared to other species.
To play, gather experience and learn, as in all other games.
Or whine that the game is not well made and gives up without putting any effort into learning how to play, and of course give up the game
it's actually interesting that after 14 years, the same thesis is still put forward that it's almost impossible to play with a certain species.
Sometimes it's an alien like in your case, sometimes it's a predator that can't fight aliens and marines because it's simply too weak. Then again there are those who say that the marine is simply too weak compared to the other species, and in fact no one questions the skill.
Of course, the game has its flaws, such as glitches and for years there has been a debate about whether glitches is it cheating or is it simply an extremely unfair gameplay which gives a huge advantage to those who build their gameplay exclusively on glitches and spoils the game for other players and how to put an end to it or is it even possible regardless of server rules and admins.
That's another topic that you don't understand because you're at the beginning, i mean in a phase when it seems to you that some species are inferior to other species.
Trust me, play and you will see that alien is one bad a.s.s motherf.u.c.k.e.r!
The alien has remarkable speed, and the tail is just an incredible asset in combat. Marines are easily staggered and most don't bother countering heavy strikes. If played correctly, the alien can kill most marines without them having any chance to even react. Predators are tougher, but the alien will still win most 1:1 fights against a Pred if the Alien lands the first hit, and the aliens are fast and unpredictable enough to not have to worry as much about ranged combat from slow-shooting Predators.
Overall, the classes are fairly balanced.
