AvP2 Primal Hunt Worm
I've been thinknig about this for a while, but does anyone know what the hell is that worm you see in the Ancient Predator and Dunya's campaigns in Aliens Versus Predator 2's expansion called Primal Hunt.

You probably mean the tentacles.

On highest difficulty I hated these creatures -.-

Yeah, especially since there was no real way to "kill" them, all you really can do is stun them.

woah This is the first time I've seen anyone speak of Primal Hunt since maybe a year after it released. Sadly, that was when the decline of the AvP series began I think. Fox shoved PH out half baked with a glitchy, laggy multiplayer and not enough map content. When PH had dismal sales, the only developer to look at the series again was the pathetic has-been remnant of the company that started the series, rebellion. All you combi sticking preds and long-bomb pouncing xenos and bunny hopping rines out there know what I'm talking about when I say AvP died with AvP2. That noob trash that rebellion puked out back in 2010 couldn't even pass for a wort on the a s s of AvP2.

I don't agree with that.
At least the single player isn't that bad and I also like the multiplayer of AvP 2010.

I never was able to play multiplayer mode of AvP Classic or AvP 2 but I liked the single player in the same way as I like the single player of this game.
However if you know the multiplayer of the older ones you're maybe right since I am not able to compare that.
But again, I like the single player of all games in the same way so I cannot completely agree with that opinion.

Really? I thought they would've co-existed due to the fact that the aliens weren't attacking them when they were encountered.

Oh it was! don't get me wrong I played it alot back in 2005 but it eventually was littered with hackers and snipeing spam. The sniper for pred and marine was just cheap. Also the netcode could be really bad at times.

Yes, but it will only work on Windows and outside of GoG it can be hard to get your hands on a copy.

also because the company that hosted them whent bankrupt.
what i remember when playing it, that most servers had blocked nearly all the predator weapons (plasma caster, plasma pistol etc) but for humans they only blocked the smart gun even though it was a weak weapon.
meanwhile the overpowered sniper rifle, that could be used easy without scope was used by nearly everyone.
