Are the DLC maps worth it?

Bought this game some years ago and I love it!

Discovered the multiplayer is still somewhat active but now with the discount I wonder if getting the DLC maps is worth it? Do people play on these maps?

That bad? I've been playing for some days now and never encountered a cheater... At least I think so...

Usually cheaters in this game like to walk through the walls - you will immediately notice;)

Quite a lot of people still play this regularly. I suggest joining this group https://steamcommunity.com/groups/ACM-BH
They are playing both AvP2010 and Colonial Marines. In AvP2010 there is problem with cheaters but its only time to time. And so far from what I've seen they are using mainly speed hack or good old aim bot. But on dedicated servers there are admins that should be controlling this. You can also report cheater to admins in group i just posted.
Plus you can play Survival mode on those maps, either alone or with friends in coop. So I would suggest taking them, especially with the huge discount which is curently going on.

DLC maps are the best, but you need friends to play with. If your not, so dont buy.

The DLC maps are worth it and people DO play them they just tend to set up private servers so that those who don't have it won't join https://discord.gg/xnTXZJU is the discord that has a good amount of people who frequent the game.
