Predators are overpowered?

All of their weapons are capable of 1 hit kill AT RANGE
Most health out of all the 3 species
Unstoppable strong melee (light attacks won't interrupt it)
Jumping while using plasma caster

Is it just me or they are truly broken? I can't help but feel that they have advantage over the other species, they can use plasma while melee against aliens and can use ANY ranged weapons to 1-hit-kill marines.

I main alien and I can destroy most predators in a 1v1. They lose their weapons when they die, that's what makes them balanced.

Just saying but all 3 species are pretty well balanced and fun to play. Neither overpowers any, and this is coming from a new player.

Just putting this here because I'm sick of seeing games being ruined over the playerbase's idiocy and how everyone cries OP at everything they don't know how to fight properly against. (case in point COH2)

Originally preds were OP, but Rebellion handed them a bunch of nerfs in a couple of patches that made them weaker. They were basically impossible to knock down, their disc would one-shot you whether it hit you in the head or not and plasma bolts had such high splash they could kill you through walls. The patches never made it to consoles.

imho they have a bit too much health. In TDM it takes so long to kill a predator, that you'll probably be killed by other player, before you even manage to achieve that.

As a professional AvP player on CONSOLE for about 5 years now, of course the Predator is heavily overpowered. I got PC a while ago (I only played Alien, and the patches seemed incredibly good) but was utterly disappointed at the lack of ability compared to console. Regardless, yes - The Predator is overpowered in PC, but not as much when compared to other systems :)

IMHO game is fun when theres like 2v2v2 or really small FFA. in 1 on 1 situations game's balanced, but when 6 players (or more, since team balance isnt forced) plazma roll through all map it's unfair.
