[AVP 2010/A:CM] Multiplayer alive 2017?

Well, i'm thinking to buy both A:CM and AVP 2010 soon, but i want to ask you guys, how active is multiplayer?Will i be able to find games whenever i want?If not, suggest me some Steam groups for thease games so i can join and try to find some people to play with.Thank you. :)

Actually yes, through dedicated servers.
There are servers which are up since 2010 and still going.

BUT, even if those servers are available 24/7, it depends if people are on it.
Furthermore, this game has no cheat protection.
So rather only play on DBH and blackhorse servers.
I guess there are some others with active admins and ban lists of cheaters, but I cannot gurantee.
As far as I know, those where the best servers last time I played multiplayer.

Hi there.
AVP have an active multiplayer community, while it isnt large you will be able to find games most of the times. Even when there´s an active game and it is full, you may find one or two slots free after 10-20 minutes (after each round ends). That have being said, it is also true that you will have to deal with cheaters from time to time; and if the server is non balance set, theres chance that you will be overwhelmed by other teams... but nonetheless the game is way fun, and you may find awesome people from time to time.

ACM multiplayer active but hard make what all players play in one server.Today we got 11 player for A:CM this big number, tomorrow we want make server again, your welcome if you want join =)

In AVP 2010, you will only be able to play non-ranked species team deathmatch. Where its classic aliens vs predators vs marines. Barely anyone will be playing other modes.

Multiplayer > Player match > Browse game > Server type change into Dedicated(Internet) > Browse and select the server on which you want to play.

the multiplayer is just dead, real sad, but makes no difference since every match had at least 2 or 3 hackers.

why is it when i try join any server it says "you were removed on the game" right after launch?
