How to get out of the well? [spoiler alert]

I'll try not to spoil as much as I can, but I'm basically stuck at a point in the story where I tried every single combination of item available and every interaction with the environment, also with every items, yet it seem nothing work even when I already figured out the ''puzzle'' per say. I'm at my wits end, is it that I missed some very well hidden item or one of them bugged out and I'm softlocked? Because I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do, I scanned the entire ''cavern'' multiple times and I can't seem to find anything else, what am I doing wrong?

It should end when you pick up the gold chain (locket I think). The one where you have to go between two hands.

If you have other items remaining I think you missed an earlier step.

I found out my problem, indeed I've been effectively soft-locked by a bug, because it seem one of the straws that is required to make the ''bridge'' never got transferred to my inventory and thus I literally cannot do anything as they no longer spawn within the pictures (as if I had taken them), so... game over I guess?

Freaking great... damnit, I was really enjoying this little game, but screw redoing everything I've just done, guess I'll try it again one day in the future...

Have you picked up 3 or 2 straws ?

one of the straws is super small-very hard to see, in one of the picture rooms? its in a glass if i remember right, searched like 20 min for it myself, until i started randomly clicking the pick up button, and suddenly the straw was in my inventory.

Same issue here and it seems that there's no fix at the moment, The Straws should be in the "same place" in inventory but they are not. I've got 1 + 2 and can't combine :C

I think the bug happened because I picked up one of the straws but too quickly/accidentally left the ''picture'', so while it was no longer in the picture as is since I had picked it up, it didn't save into my inventory due to the area transition, or something like that I guess? I think it was the one in the cup by the tent, at the camping picture.

I think I'm in the same boat. I have a pair of straws and a single straw with no way to create a bridge and progress to the final photograph. I've searched the other two photographs up and down but nothing. Devs, please assist! We should have a way to combine the separate straw with the other two to create a bundle.

Issue where the straws sometimes could not stack properly inside the inventory during the Wolf Trial has been fixed in the latest patch.

This unfortunately still happens. I did the same thing of exiting the scene before picking up the second straw however it won't stack with the others.

Hey Specter, thanks for pointing that out. Please report it by sending an e-mail to [e-mail] with a bug description and your DxDiag (PC specifications). A screenshot and/or a video showing the issue would be a massive help as well!
