I seem to recall you need trucks on the Glasgow side. If any part is incorrect then you get 0 items.
Simple like that... had the same issue.. Thank you Sir!
Still a great game, tho.
Make sure that you freight road station is in the catchment area of the port [as I have seen people add a road and then loose the attachment, because the road sometimes bends away from the station] and your end station is in the correct part of town and you have the correct horse-drawn carriage and that you have not ticked the box for it to pick-up/deliver the wrong product, and that you have a few vehicles on the route, also that you have a ship for the task.
Also check the factory to see if it has recognised it has 'customers' [same with the pub part].
Edit: Make sure the "Ferryman's wages" [pub delivery] is done BEFORE the delivery of the fish or you won't get the last Gold award!
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT ACCEPT THE BONUS MISSION IMMEDIATELY.
The bonus mission is the one that starts with the spiel about the angels' share disappearing and the drunken shipmates. Don't accept it. Leave it in the deck waiting for a response.
Do the main mission (whisky from Islay > dock > Glasgow commercial sector) first. Set up your ship, set up your dock in the bay near Glasgow and *make sure it is connected to a road*, set up your truck station and depot and an unload stop in the commercial sector of Glasgow city centre. Make sure that when you click the dock, the catchment lights up the truck station, and vice versa. Run a line of cargo stagecoaches between the dock and your city centre unload stop.
You shouldn't need to do anything else, in particular you don't need to do any fancy cargo-filtering business or any road supply on Islay: after a couple of minutes on fast forward, the whisky should start to flow.
Finally, you can now accept the bonus mission. For me this only worked if I set up a dedicated line to a truck stop right outside the pub and filtered the orders so it was forced to pick up 100% whisky from the dock and nothing else, but maybe I was just being impatient.
On the line connect first Port Ellen Pier and then Glasgow Harbour.
Never the other way around, otherwise it won't work.
