No configuration of settings available allow the Launch button to function, with either Left Mouse Click or Spacebar. Surprisingly people seem to get this game to work without issue, so I'm not sure what my bug is or why it isn't widespread as launch issues typically are....

Is there any way to lower the character voices? I am on the verge of refunding the game after only 20 minutes of talking. It really seems like something I might enjoy but the sound issues are extreme. The worst offender is the "voices". Please tell me how to fix this!...
