I will actually play the fresh servers but this Game still needs at least 2-3 more years to be a "good" game IMO.
Restrict Jobs on a Character to 2 crafting and 2 gathering jobs. That will make the economy more important and create less people that are fully self sufficient.
A lot more expeditions and rework of the expedition system like twice a day only.
Rework the Item system completly. Watermark is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ system that fits into games like diablo but not New World IMO. Make Item Sets for each weapon in Expeditions/Crafting with a fixed GearScore so it's 200% easier for the already overwhelmed dev team. Make Blank Item Sets for PvP aswell for Crafting/PvP Vendor. Then make craftable "runes" or something for each job that can apply a certain amount of stats to those Items and depending on the rarity it can hold like 2-5 of those "stat runes" so that even if you drop a new item or gear you simply have to get those runes for your item first. Making them a very valuable trade good which people wont just throw out for cheap. That way you can still have people "grind" our their perfect gear instead of hoping for sheer luck RNG.
Crafting system overhaul where you dont need to endlessly farm old materials and new materials to get your mats. Instead just increase the amount of mats needed from the higher materials you need to craft bars etc.
Skilltree rework, so much points and specs are downright useless and not played in any content (looking at bleeding builds for rapier, poision build for bow for example)
Those are totally underwhelming and need reworks to make actually interesting builds.
Right now it's a hack and slay leftclick simulator with 3 skills with mostly high as fu.ck CDs.
If they make changes to all this it would be a very long playable and fun game IMO.
Right now for me it's a boring PvE farm simulator with classes and skills that feel almost unnecessary.
So I will look at the new servers, play my fair share of the new patch and the overall changes but I highly doubt that any of the crucial points actually had a change. Sadly, because this game COULD be so much more than it is.
In other words, will i be able to switch between them?
A bunch of us have 40 bucks with your name on it, Jeff.
