In terms of transparency this Density Test is a requirement for the Preview event in August. We need to make sure the tech doesn't buckle when we invite twice as many people in August. That Preview event is all about inviting people in to play, check out our progress, listen to where we want to go, and share their feedback. We love New World and we believe in it. But we also know it needs more time and work to grow. After the Preview event, everyone will have a good sense of what we do well and what we need to keep working on. We want to be more transparent and open with our community.

I'm calling this right now: The main feedback you're going to get is to leave the beta running :P

Honestly though, please consider it. If not in August, then toward the end of the year. A sampler like this isn't going to whet appetites so much as enhance the frustration of a delayed release.

I know it is confusing but Beta isn't happening until 2021. We have a Density Test this week to prepare for a Preview event in August. After the Preview event we will announce details on how Alpha testing will resume. We want to focus on development and working with our testers to make the game the best it can be. We are not looking to soft launch or do an early access situation.

Does not run under Linux in Steam Play ... Some copy protect issue ... Preview or not, ignored.

Hi Devs..Im playing and have a big problem i die in pvp and get burn status but it dont go way! i it keep taking my HP an i eternly die to this status!! it stop only in cities. help please. i cant play more this way. i close and opengame many times, die many times and the burn doint go way.

hopefully there's going to be way more character customization options at launch, right now its really lackluster for me.

why refund it...every game that was due to release soon has been delayed. its not there fault that covid happened. working from home really limits what can get done in situations like this. i say just keep you pre-order and wait it out, but that's just me.

Sometimes we must consider that these are hard times and due to covid we need all the resources we can get, I love the game, I'll pre pruchase it again when its close to releasing, keep safe

Apparently the game doesn't have enough end game content. Which is silly because I can't remember a single MMO that had end game content at release. ESO comes to mind.

More or less the game got panned by all of the WoW streamers for not being WoWie enough.

I mean...World of Warcraft...where the end game is to endlessly repeat the same raids over and over and over just to get better gear so you can complete the same raid but at a harder difficulty over and over and over.

imagine taking off of work to play this game, just to see that it has been pushed back again. yeah final nail in the coffin, refunded that ♥♥♥♥. lost another customer with that
