Singleplayer game like new world

Greedfall is very similiar in theme. Personally loved it, janky AA game but good writing.

I think some games in the Assassins Creed series or maybe Skyrim with mods comes closest. But having fun with a few buddies and joking around in Teamspeak is hard to beat with single-player games.

Play on a fresh start server with your flag off and you can be in a single player game if you want to. Just ignore everyone as if they were npcs.

Greedfall! Greedfall is practically the same art style, plot, lore, etc. Great game and Greedfall 2 is set to come out soon. Honestly if Amazon didn't have an army of lawyers defending them, the Greedfall team probably could have sued for IP theft.

I recommend Red Dead redemption 2 for single player...great story imo the characters are great and graphics are still insane the details is amazing also have played that game through 3 times and beat the game 100% 1 of them times it was worth it.

The only problem i have its ill never get to experience that game for the first time again bums me out

i realize RDR2 is not quite comparable to New world but its overall its a must play if you enjoy a good story and good action

True. After levelling one character to 60 by playing almost exclusively solo and getting a new character that I made last week a bit beyond halfway to 60 by only playing solo It's become painfully obvious that a huge chunk of this alleged MMORPG game can be played solo.

With the new character I made last week I have been trying to get into the Amrine Excavation dungeon, and this is on a "fresh start" server so it shouldn't be that hard, right? Wrong. I have queued up for that dungeon several times, and one day I even stayed in the queue for it for almost 2 hours, and I still haven't managed to run it once. At the lower levels it may as well be a SP game. The rest of the time spent playing that character has been running around solo and been over powered and over levelled for every single main story mission I've been given, can't imagine the boredom of doing all of that with a team because it was zero challenge doing all of it alone.

this game feels like dragon age inquisition by how clunky everything it. DAI was good in 2014 standards, but you might like it, its very similar. I would play the 2 games before it though

Do you realize that this is called freedom of choice? You could have had a great time with a guild or buddies in the game. It was YOUR choice to do everything solo.

You can play New World as single player, plus population is really low so no players around
