Lag/choppy game after 5 minutes that resolves 1 minute later?
I was wondering if anyone has experienced a laggy/choppy game after 5 minutes of being in-game. It resolves after 1 minute, but it happens every time I launch and it's pretty annoying. My computer can definitely handle the game.

Yea HUGE ISSUE RIGHT NOW. The memory leaks get super severe after a couple hours. It is because of the lumberyard engine. Before the expansion the game was so smooth and this choppiness was never a issue.

For some reason(DEVS SAID THIS). If the players in your server have poor computers you will suffer as well. Even if you have a RTX 4090. This is why they upped the PC requirements.

Solutions atm: Restart your game every couple of hours. Go to game settings and turn off "telemetry data" this feature lags the crap out of your computer. It's basically gathering your system performance and user behavior data in the game, so turn it off. Waste of resources.

He doesn't have to. But the more data the easier it is to solve his issues.

Yea your just at the mercy of the game engine with a beast PC like you have. Only good suggestion I have for a PC like yours, is to turn off "telemetry data" in the New world game settings and enable "dynamic resolution". It helped me with server performance issues. RTX 4070 i7 13700k 32GB here.

Do you still have that issue? I build a new PC in November and still haven‘t figured out how to stop this.
For me it happens in War Thunder, Hell Let Loose and The Finals (I don‘t remember any game besides that where it occures.

Make a secondary/alt Character(can even be on the same server), log into it when you start noticing the "choppiness" and go back to your main Char again, this should reset/clear "cache" every time you log with another Char.
This method has been helping me for the longest time.

Just to clarify this. I don't play New World / haven't played it in ages or even on this PC. I just happen to stumble across this thread cause it was the only one where this kind of Bug/Problem is mentioned.
