So I'm looking at https://twitter.com/NWGameStatus and there's no tweets saying that. Does that page display properly if not logged into a Twitter account? There's no tweets there for the month of October.

BillHicks also asked about the usual experience. On Twitter they just wrote one hour, but quite often they need a little bit longer ;)

Yeah I read that, that's not what I'm asking (any more).

My question is that I don't see anything being said on Twitter, when using my web browser. There's no tweets for the month of October for their server status Twitter account (https://twitter.com/NWGameStatus).

Could you supply me a web link to see what you see?

For some reason you have to follow them on twitter to see any sort of information on updates and downtime. Apparently, it is too difficult to display the estimated down time on the launcher/character select screen like every other MMO seems to do.

Ok, so its not me then. I uninstalled Twitter/X when I moved over to Mastodon.

Its like the web page for the Twitter account never updated after September.

I wish they would put their status on their web site. There server status page just shows the status of the server (which is good) but not how long it will be down or any announcements.

Edit; It seems you have to have a Twitter account and be logged in to see any newer tweets from October. If you go to that link without being logged in it doesn't show the tweet you were kind enough to give me the direct link about.

Forgot to mention, this https://www.newworld.com/en-us/support/server-status works, but it doesn't give you an ETA.

Yes, the most recent tweets I can see from them without having an account are from season 2 for me. I had the same issues as a returning player trying to find an ETA.

That being said- you CAN search nwgamestatus twitter and google will display their private posts on the search page, even without an account. That's how I found it last time.

In fact I wish they would post that 3 hotfixes also on Steam with the announcement of the maintenance. But it seems that they only do this for the monthly updates.

At least discord would be possible, they post it there too.

Im litterally in awe at how horrible ags handles downtime. Why is it so hard to just make a post saying "servers are going down for X reason for X amount of time" and post this on their own website and in the launcher. whats is going on over there????
