Crafting in New World requires to take the game as a second job.
Not only you need to have the profession at max level you also need:
3 houses and all trophies.
Food.
Crafting set.
And the buff of city where you have one of your homes.
Then you can craft level 700gs items.

This is me. I can craft prismatic scarabs but it is a another step to craft BIS equipment. I can craft prismatic leather, ingots and planks as well.
