In New World - gather EVERYTHING. Either craft or purchase your tools before you head on your adventure and gather everything to sell for a profit.

Pick a faction as soon as possible, because you can buy faction gear with faction points that are really good. I think its around lvl 12 or so...
You will get a quest line at each of the tree different factions, that must be completed to join. (Pick one)
It upgrades as you lvl up so you get access to better and better gear and items for more or less free.

Try doing expeditions ( 5 man dungeons) at recommended lvls, its more fun that way.
You can que up for it when you are high enough lvl.

Lvl a couple of weapon types you like to max lvl first, before you start mixing it up.

When you buy your first house you get a discount, so save up and buy a more expensive one. Do notice that more expensive houses has higher requirements.

Use the large "msg" board in town to get town faction quests.
You can do them between other quests, because its often kill or gather quests.

You get horse-riding at lvl 25.

You can turn on pvp at anytime when you are in a Town, if you like pvp. But PvP are by default /off.

This is fake news, go to "fresh start" to play with legacy players who will stomp u again and again because amazon hasn't updated the game in over a year & people are bored looking for content. If u want to level fast just play the main story quests, u'll get to max level 65 in less than 24 hours
