Those players wouldn't be interested in a fresh start WoW server. They are having too much fun in New World's current endgame.
Active players are going down really quick.

Player numbers increased 10ish times. They came back to see what was new. It is back down to half that.
WoW's not available on consoles. WoW has subscription fees.
New World is on consoles, free to play once purchased.
such a hard decision.
bored. NW not perfect but I can find stuff to do.
I would take a rehashed old game (lets face it, New World Aeternum is also rehashed old game) where I can play as a rogue, be totally invisible and stalk newbies all day.
Spam AOE and watch everything die. That's how you play every MMO in 2024 and beyond. Forcing players to use mechanics of old school games will just drive new players away. And They can't sustain on just the nostalgia alone. Blizzard has nothing new it's just recycling the same worn out fluff at this point. Then having the nerve to charge a monthly fee for a recycled version of the game they made billions on decades ago while also selling gold and having a cash shop is just disgusting. I wouldn't even consider giving Blizzard another cent in my lifetime after how they let Bobby destroy what made it great.
