New World in 2025

what u guys think? or how u guys see this game going in the next year i will like to see your opinions and ideas.

In Q1 I think it will be:

- New ranged weapon type (duel wield pistols from the trailer)
- A few new artifacts
- A new expedition
- A new OPR map
- Bunch of QoL changes with the current raid and PvP island
- Bunch of bug fixes
- Server merges
- Barbershop to change character appearance (I feel like they will tie this into store item though)

In Q2/Q3 I think they will be announcing a brand new expansion 3x as big as rise of angry earth.

I am enjoying the game so far though so I am not complaining I think I have enough content for myself until Q1.

Maybe they fix bugs they have fixed earlier but reintroduced in current patch

I meant in all mmos the old content become obsolete and you get the best gear by doing raids.

I see NW in 2025 in maintenance mode. I mean, they still don't have a roadmap and actively dismiss issues.

There's absolutely nothing in what you're proposing that should save this game, which should soon be abandoned by its developers...

Which will then break something else that has terrible unforseen consequences so they'll have to revert their fix again. Next day another programmer at AGS quits their job, because it seemed preferable to live in a cardboard box next to a liquor store while mooching the wifi of a well known fast food chain, over working with the lumberyard game engine.

It use to be a time when Devs would actually be playing the game they are working on and if you had an issue a Dev would actually come to you in character. It use to be a time when you could speak to moderators and they would answer you from a forum. It use to be a time when the creators would actually listen to their player base. There use to be a time when creators were actually creating something they love. As of today all this is gone so I really think they are just trying to milk this game for money lost and they don't give a crap about fixing it. So I am not looking at this game to be a long time thing at all. The core issue bugs in this game has only gotten worse.

And people need to keep in mind, this lotr game they are working on it will have the same engine that New World is and was made for ... so all same bug exploits and mistake will be made once again ... sad but true :(

I second that and have you noticed, in past time, when you were not happy in a restaurant for some mistake they made ... they respected you ... in that time, woke stuff didn t exist and cancel culture either ... now, they are replying : "If you don t want our product, go away, there are plenty of other places you can go" in other way ... F*** ***.

Look how gamers are behavioring with Amazon ... " If you don t like New World, go away"
So how could the game improved ? It can t ... that s why i also think it s going into maintenance mode with no new road map coming :( Maybe i am wrong !
