It's literally aim hacking, there's clips of streamers winning duels blindfolded that's how broken this trash aim hack is.

He won against NOOB, the opponent clearly made a mistake placing AOE

I played at launch and then again in this beta. I enjoyed it much much more this time around. The combat feels amazing on a controller. I am sorry to see so many vet players coming down so hard on it. I understand changes can suck, but I do think the game they are about to put out on console is superior to the game I played at launch by miles.

a not so small part of the pvp-community that have left very shortly after the release missing free loot from ganking inferior victims provided from globaly forced pvp they have hoped console players would become easy prey on the new lawless zone.
now with autoaim maybe or not needed for controller to track target at all terms will be even or not in advantage for pc so in short pc no longer masterrace who cares except a lot of competetive pvp-egos.
for pve just disable within the settings or not there are a lot of other games where targetlock is needed even for pve like eldenring its not the end of the world.
every returning or new player is one less excuse for ags to not continue with more updates that have canceled or stalled becasue of severe problems changing game engine from lumberjack to slayerscript on the flight.
more drama please the beta shows improved immersion doing any sidequests just for fun cant wait to do spared quests after the release,luckily i have younger toons leveled up with faction quests to not miss the changes next month.

Is this your alt account? You don't have a mouse which means you don't own the game.

It hit 6100 (concurrent players) on steam yesterday so not sure where you get it struggles to hit 5k.

That's why they are moving and going to focus on console, pc crowd is just bitter and toxic.

It will do just fine over there and why pc players like you who doesn't own it or post on alts accounts are so worked up.

Cause its bad and takes away from the combat as a whole. Again I will say this, WE SHOULD HAVE AIM ASSIST IT IS USED IN EVERY MODERN SHOOTER THAT IS CONTROLLER VS MKB. AIMLOCKING IS DIFFERENT AND COMPLETELY RUINS THE IDENTITY OF NEW WORLD. This once again proves what PC players have been saying for 3 years. AGS just does not listen to the community, they lied to us and told us this was not going to be in PVP. They said Aim Assist will be. This is not aim assist. Imagine your playing you favorite game for 3 years, and then they just completely change the way it functions as the way you purchased the game. I get it this game is now being sold to you and other console players as a new game, But I promise you if you were in the shoes of these PC players that majority feels this way you would understand. This game is turning into a completely different product than what we were sold 3 years ago and weather you like it or not that is just wrong on all ends. That is why we are talking about it.

As someone who often checks in on New World to see if it has progressed enough to bring me back and who’s genuinely rooting for the game’s success .This change is a major letdown for me. The combat was the core experience that kept me engaged, and it’s what I enjoyed most about PvP. Unfortunately, this new mechanic feels like it disrupts that flow and takes away from the thrill that kept me invested. Not that is matters but I wouldn't return if this is kept in.
