No...no you cant, that makes it 700 not 725 and it only works for named items.
Yeah, I have not been playing recently, because I don't enjoy Hive and I didn't know any other way to gear. I guess that's it for NW for me for now at least. It seems pretty crazy that they have made endgame come down to a single raid. Can't think of any MMO in the past that has done that.
First step is to stop believing that anything not-a-raid is garbage. Get an artifact for a weapon (relatively easy), upgrade it with a coconut (definitely easy), and then wear whatever the well spits out that day, replacing pieces as you go. You'll be fine.
First of all, each drop piece is lvl 725 and one perk can be changed, so you can have the build you want.
You also get 3 chromatic seal.
10 gorgons tokens, so after 4 weeks you can craft a free piece of armor.
And you also get a gogonite inductor that you can use to craft a 725gs gear or weapon if you have the materials without need at all to level up crafting skills. If you have 130k then you can craft a weapon with 3 perks for example.
I've got a complete build, including armour, weapon and jewellery artifacts. My artifacts are all upgraded to 725. My problem is (and hence the point of this thread) ithat to get any further the only two options I have are random 725 legendaries (1500 from the well) or repeatedly running The Hive.
I tried a few items from the well, but you have no control over what you get and the items I've had so far are not any use to my build. No point me continuing down that road.
That leaves The Hive, which I find dull. I might be able to force myself to run it once or twice, but no way I am going to run it the number of times required to get a 725 gear set.
