Not because of unfinished state or bugs but because of you.
Ashes of creation is quite popular despite being unfinished.
Ashes of Creation will never launch its a scam.
Check out the 10m mark of this video this is their "desert" area that was apparently ready to go...

This has been debunked.
I play AoC. They have 1000's of players. I would expect it has more than NW. Its a cross between Everquest and WoW. It might of been a contender 10 years ago but the game mechanics are 15 years out of date. Graphics are good and its being done well. bugs are expediently addressed and it runs smooth.
It has some new features like town building and caravans. I probably will not play it much as it feels like WoW revisited with new graphics. Lots of grinding to level and action is so slow compared to NW. It uses a hybrid action / tab targeting combat. Its kind of like how heals work in NW but across all targeting and combat.
I am waiting for "Light No Fire" by Hello Games. Its going to be on steam.
People think PvP is competitive play like some kind of IRL sport.
But this is what PvPers actually want to do.
Otherwise, if you stay near the starting zones it's a bit more friendly and fun, with an occasional evenly matched PvP battle. That's what people should want, right? If this ends up happening all over then it could be a fun idea.
Perhaps they should add a restriction that you can't attack a player that's more than 5 levels apart from yours? 10 at the most. At least in OPR everyone gets their gear leveled up to GS700 or whatever. I don't ever play PvP so I wouldn't know. This open world is just some ragers fantasy played out. lol
