'Crafting attempt failed'

hey folks, i'm getting the ancient 'crafting attempt failed' bug again ffs. All the solutions are equally ancient and basically say reinstall game - any other solutions?

If you are trying to craft Ethereal gear, this worked for me. Even though there is a pull down to pick the attribute (dex, con, int, etc.) leave it blank. Select your perk or add Azoth for random perk then hit craft. I was able to craft gear and weapons doing this.

well, nothing we can do except to wait for the devs to fix it on the server side. patch incoming in 5 minutes as i've seen. lets hope it addresses this thing

Mine was related to a quest. I hit reset on the quest and it worked afterwards.

it was borked for me for a while too, fine last time i crafted tho

This old bug? Or new bug with old symptoms?
One thing that used to work for me was to open the map, close it, and try crafting again. I don't think I even needed to move from my spot.

it's mostly fixed it looks like. I can create jewelry and armor......no weapon smithing recipes yet

I can now craft the bag I was trying to do but the bag did not spawn in my inventory....

yep, same, can refine not craft
