Gorgon - Nerf Time?

Now maybe I'm just crap... and the twenty or so groups that I've tried to do Gorgon with over the last couple of month's are also crap... But I'm not so sure!
Nerf or not - something has to give with this raid. Thoughts please...

No. It's the only decent content in the game. If I can do it on Xbox, with Xbox only players (console only world), you can learn and do it on PC.

If they make it any easier, it will just get even more boring than it already is due to running it dozens of times.

Even Xbox now has carry groups that will rush you through the raid. I see advertisement for those all the time on PC as well. Get into a few of those to get your BIS, and learn the raid. Then you can lead and do it as much as you need.

Experienced groups running Gorgon offer a slot or two (more if exploiting) for either gold or real money to make sure you complete the raid and get the gear you need. I was running one of these without exploits (for gold) on XBOX. But with all 3 of my RL friends no longer playing, that ended.

For real money, it does. But not for gold. Which is why we only did it for gold on the Xbox.

Having said that, Pangea is one of the most popular US servers, and lots of guilds are selling a Gorgon run for $3-5 (PayPal). AGS should really investigate, but they won't.

Yeah, European laws are pretty great. So are your protections and rights.

But I still prefer the first and second amendment to everything you got. Hopefully those come back soon....

It isn't hard if you got the right composition so your dps is sky high and players follow the mechanics. Also a good lead helps, especially with newer players. That endgame PvE content isn't accessible to just any random group of players with no thoughts about basics like composition isn't a bad thing. Sounds like what you need is a company. The whole point of PvE is to have hard fights you spend time learning as a group growing your characters and skill together, and honestly new world has very little of this rn when you compare it to other MMOs. I've very rarely felt a rush when killing something in this game.

no, until I see players actually putting in the effort to make themselves viable in the raid, I don't want to hear ANY crying about the difficulty. I don't want to hear about gate keeping. As disgusting and shameful as the guys selling carry slots, I don't want to hear anything about that either. First gear up properly, prepare and tune your style to meet those challenges, THEN we can cry about everything else.

That is the curse and poison of mmos today. Pay services for leveling and content. Have to spend money to clear the content? Not like the gaming community in the "good old days" anymore ...
