Is the expansion included with the base game?
Is the expansion included with the base game? What about players who had the old version of the game?

I own the game in its previous incarnation but now it seems I need to buy an expansion?

What happened?

Thanks!

u need to buy the expansion to get from 60-65, access and use of mounts, trade skills going from max of 200 to 250, new weapon, others.

Thanks guys, my idea is to get both PC and PS5 version, so my question is that if the aeternum deluxe includes that expansion or not.

Thanks for all the replies.
The deluxe edition isn't worth it, u only get 2 skins. The expansion is for people who got the original game new world. The aeternum as they are calling it now should include the expansion.
If you purchased New World before Aeternum update, Angry Earth was a DLC that you would still have to purchase.

If you purchased New World after Aeternum update, Angry Earth DLC is included in the purchase.

So if I played it from the start - aka put money into the heavily discussed and unproven game and service, lived through the server mess, watched the economy crash multiple times, endured the botting flod, grinded and grinded trades only to have time required halved just days later and got locked out from using my best gear in the clayball thing...
-
THEN I have to pay extra to be allowed to grind skills I spend double time maxing again and get max 65.
But if I bought it recendly, maxed out in boost mode and now are bored -
Then I get the DLC included -
(even for less $ than original + DLC [if I remember correctly]) -.-

I feel ya... same here, I think I will get it only on PS5 as it has it all and I get to do a fresh start.

If you purchased it at release, you got what you paid for.

If you want to play the DLC, you have to pay for it.

The base game is over 3 years old. It would be absurd not to discount it.
