its basically broken
Always has been, at least for PvP.
Its quite powerful for endgame PvP.
I think if they gave Pillar of Fire a short cast time & and longer cooldown that would nerf it for PvP. The instant cast time and insane range is what makes it so OP. With aimlock, its pretty broken
Only melee weapons are truly valuable in competitive PvE.
The first build an experienced player can think of (not the ONLY one build, there are others) for both PvE and PvP which is extremely easy to play is:
Hatchet / Spear
Invulnerability with hatchet "Defy Death" and top dps if you will prefer STRENGTH attribute.
Top RENDs and WEAKNESSes from spear for PvE with top dps if you will prefer DEXTERITY attribute. Crowd control (swipe) or insane health regen (tornado) at your free choice.
Hatchet can be a lethal ranged weapon in PvP and a usable enough ranged utility in PvE / or it can be a meatgrinder machine with skills that spam insane ammount of melee hits. The choice is yours how to play it.
Light armor for PvE and Medium armor for PvP. (or light armor in PvP for lols)
Enjoy
