This is absolutely FALSE... card don't just have a high chance because it's not made by asus or msi , if you are not knowledgeable on the subject you shouldn't spread mis-information about things.
99.999% of the cards are fine , it was a solder issue with evga cards that was corrected (it was only certain card from a certain batch number) , it had nothing to do with software , if it wasn't for new world it would have just happened on another game that would have released that is very CPU intensive , and there are plenty around , as far as optimization goes new world isn't the only game that's bad with it.
so if your card isn't an EVGA then you have nothing to worry about , ofcourse there are always failure rates but they are negligible , plus the issue that caused the EVGA cards to show their failure (uncapped fps on menu) has been patched over a year ago.
and as far as shaggy , goes , he just posts on this forum trolling on how bad the game is and whatever just to spread dissent under the community , he prolly doesn't even play the game , he just has nothing better to do then hate on it.
