If everyone can do everything in the game with ease, the economy will die no if buts or maybes.
Maybe, maybe not. Personally this kills my enjoyment of the game, my friends have already stopped because of lack of content + Crafting grind. I know a handful of players in my company who only play to get their crafting up and they're getting burnt out.
Also i don't know where the "ease" is
Still, great news for early birds, tough news for late bloomers.
The only reason they are doing this is because a lot of ppl reached 200 in many professions and are either becoming self sufficient or decreasing prices on the market since more can make them.
The only thing this grind increase does is increase the time it takes to get there and price jumps on the market for a while. But you will eventually end up at the same conclusion.
Ppl will be leveled. Be self sufficient and stuff available on market for a low price again.
Increasing xp is not the solution, not letting people do every job in the game in order to become self sufficient is the better solution.
Anyway, whatev i can't be arsed with it anymore.
I'm partially in agreement, but this should've been a feature from the beginning. As you say, great news for the early birds, not so much for the rest. People who can play all day every on my server got void ore early, sold it for high prices and are now rolling in money. I know people who got 200 armouring straight away, made so much money from void ore and voidbent that they just bought everything to get other 200 crafting skills.
How dare they give us more to do, how dare they.
Yeah, I just crafted 200 pieces of lvl 500+ armor and only 9 of them were considered sellable on the market.
It ain't that hard to overhaul the craft system, but I doubt it will happen soon.
I would not call crafting "something to do". It's just press a button and wait for your 10 items to be made.
It's the gathering that gives you something to do. Crafting not so much.
This should produce a smoother curve and hopefully it is just the first step towards cleaning profession / crafting system up.
