Increasing Crafting skill xp
What? Just what? It is already a grind to get 200, especially if you do all your crafting solo. With the end game being terribly boring, my sever only capping at 450 and news of crafting skill xp increasing i'm basically done with the game. Which is a shame because it's a good game and with some tweaks and new content could be a real solid game, i've already sunk 350 hours in but the grind is already rough and they're increasing it?

All this change does is benefit those already with 200 crafting skills and punishes those who aren't

This is a positive change. This will encourage people to focus more on certain professions, making these professions more profitable.

If everyone can do everything in the game with ease, the economy will die no if buts or maybes.

Maybe, maybe not. Personally this kills my enjoyment of the game, my friends have already stopped because of lack of content + Crafting grind. I know a handful of players in my company who only play to get their crafting up and they're getting burnt out.

Also i don't know where the "ease" is

As a crafter, I am happy about that, as it will bring more diversivication to the game.

Still, great news for early birds, tough news for late bloomers.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots, they are patching a wound instead of fixing it.
The only reason they are doing this is because a lot of ppl reached 200 in many professions and are either becoming self sufficient or decreasing prices on the market since more can make them.

The only thing this grind increase does is increase the time it takes to get there and price jumps on the market for a while. But you will eventually end up at the same conclusion.
Ppl will be leveled. Be self sufficient and stuff available on market for a low price again.

Increasing xp is not the solution, not letting people do every job in the game in order to become self sufficient is the better solution.

Anyway, whatev i can't be arsed with it anymore.

I'm partially in agreement, but this should've been a feature from the beginning. As you say, great news for the early birds, not so much for the rest. People who can play all day every on my server got void ore early, sold it for high prices and are now rolling in money. I know people who got 200 armouring straight away, made so much money from void ore and voidbent that they just bought everything to get other 200 crafting skills.

Can anyone confirm that the higher tier crafting gives more experience and this is an attempt to stop the people from spamming the tier 2 crafts?
Toastbrot Nov 11, 2021 @ 1:42am
if they do this they should also adjust the levels of the people who are already 200. Otherwise its kinda unfair

How dare they give us more to do, how dare they.

i Just hate the way crafting is designed in this game..why leave everything to Luck.. when there is no direct stat for Luck available (other than using gems and perk)

Yeah, I just crafted 200 pieces of lvl 500+ armor and only 9 of them were considered sellable on the market.

They just need to add more craft mods slots and let players use silver/gold/platinum/asmodeum settings if they want a gem slot.

It ain't that hard to overhaul the craft system, but I doubt it will happen soon.

I guess they don't want everyone crafting. Only those who are willing to put up with the mind numbing grind.

I would not call crafting "something to do". It's just press a button and wait for your 10 items to be made.

It's the gathering that gives you something to do. Crafting not so much.
Blowfeld Nov 11, 2021 @ 3:27am
Well, they also edited crafting XP along the way. Still takes slightly longer to level crafts up, but not as much as everyone feared.

This should produce a smoother curve and hopefully it is just the first step towards cleaning profession / crafting system up.
