Why are those who use farm bot cheats not banned?

we report people who use farm bot as players, why are they not investigated and these people are not banned. This game is paid and in this case we have to get service. If money is needed to build a team that reviews reports, increase the price of the game.

No devs come to this forum. You're better off asking this on the official forums. The #1 argument is "you can't prove someone is a bot." My argument is that New World doesn't have a true support team. It uses Amazon Support who, in the dev's own words, are under trained to deal with game issues.

Unfortunately just one person reporting a BOT won't make the cut because the automatic ban system works when an account is massively reported, this means you must gather a lot of people to report that specific BOT account to be banned.

The ban is automatic, there's no one looking into it to see if it's right or wrong, the only moment they look into it, it's when someone appeals the ban, a lot of people are being falsely banned because of mass reporting, they need to appeal, and then AGS will take a look if the ban was right or wrong.

By the way... Increasing the price of the game ISN'T the right move, the game is already pretty dead because of how the game is, increasing its price would simply create a huge payment gate that won't allow new players to come back to the game.

You can deal with BOTs by paying attention at they movement cycle and breaking it by mining a node before him, it will take a while, but you'll break the cycle and the BOT won't keep farming... Until the user fix its course, of course.

They do get banned, it's just that they make more than the amount to buy another copy of NW so continue the cycle

Totally untrue I have reported bots for "botting" and they were gone within a few hours. It takes time to investigate they can't just go by your words. And you seem to think the GM's are just sitting around waiting for your reports with nothing else to do. Even in games like WOW i've had to wait many hours for a GM. If a bot doesn't get banned it's because they are doing a mass ban to make it less obvious how the botting activity was detected. You just assume they don't care because you didn't get instant gratification. In fact the game has every incentive to ban bots more so than not.

Yeah, because the BOT is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the server NOW. If they hold the BOT for a longer time just to make a wave, they are allowing the BOT to stay botting for more than it should.

The cynic in me wants to say, "Well, population is population." In other words, even a Bot required a purchase of the game. Amazon has their money (and yours too), and so what is the incentive for them to whip out the Banhammer?

Bots stops at empty nodes for a sec. Try to gather if you already on it. They easy to spot by place or routes. But sad thing is what i'm reporting them. And i still got bot at start location who already got to 48lvl. He was 8lvl then i give him 1-st report. So guess they don't care.

This again, I am comming back after a while one every one seen mass reported who legit was cheating or breaking rules, says on steam since there is no mods here they were "innocent" no one is gonna say "yeah you got me." No they gonna argue in their mind its not cheating as "eveyr one can do it" Like I seen people cheat in this because "every one else is," and "how else will they know if I don't share it?" Uh you report the cheat/exploit.
