pvp how are people so resistant?

i dont understand how people have so much resistance. is it simply runeglass in their gear along with perks? but it would have to be main to rune glass right? i dont have that yet. i am yet to craft my own gear as its a big task thats overwhelming me. but in pvp ive picked up general good gear with lots of resistances to damage types. and onyx in most of every slot, overall i have 705 gs as a tank/dps main and i currently have 30% res to slash and i still get hit by these people like im wearing nothing. and i hit them back with my ga with like 2k base damage and i get a blue number of like 600 damage. how can they be that resistant? these high end game players are like untouchable. so what exactly is it? cause its downright frustrating and makes me wanna quit. along with their insane resistance theyre damage is like nothing else as well. they make me as a heavy tank look like im in llight armor.

Short answer : your gear sucks, thiers doesn't. also you can use temp items to boost damage and resistence as well very effective if you use it properly at the right time.

I use resistant items too tho. Also I wouldn't say my gear sucks lol. Like I said I have a ton of physical resistance and 30% slash resistance but I still get hit by slash weapons that take chunks of my heath

Very true. I know hardcore players who grind for the very best stuff should be rewarded but for someone like me who's not that far off. 705 GS. Decent perks. And I can't even do damage to some of these people.

Even some instances I've been pvping and had 3 of my guys vs 1 dude and where all hammering on him and he's not even blocking, he's just smacking us all back like flys. Like how is that even possible? And yeah we're all level 65 and decent players. I hate whenever I mentioned this people go straight to. Oh you suck. Your gear sucks. No no no. Obviously the other player has better gear but how could it be that massive of a difference? No one should be able to do that

Give up PvP in this game, it's a complete mess of broken stats, terrible class balance, and cheats.

PVP IS VERY UNSTABLE. SOME PEOPLE HAVE A GREAT ADVANTAGE BECAUSE OF THEIR INTERNET SPEED. SOMETIMES I AM NOT SURE HOW PEOPLE ARE GETTING THE DAMAGE THAT THEY ARE GETTING. I HAVE A VERY SOLID CHARACTER AND SOMETIMES I GET HIT AND IT IS LIKE I HAVE NO ARMOR ON. PEOPLE SAY IT IS MY SETUP BUT I AM DEFINITELY NOT BUYING IT. I HAVE HAD TIMES WHEN I WAS LOADED WITH VIGOR AND DESERT SUNRISE AND GOT HIT ONCE AND BLED OUT IN LESS THAT 20 SECONDS. I USED MY DEBUFFS NO HELP. SOMETHING IS FISHY. I AM HOPING ASHES OF CREATION IS COMING OUT SOON. TIRED OF THE BUGS AND STRANGE HAPPENINGS IN THIS GAME. OTHERS FEEL THE SAME. NEW WORLD IS ONE MMO AWAY FROM DEATH IN MY OPINION. TOO UNSTABLE .

If you play heavy get the Frigid set. You must have a wrong build. Search in YouTube for the Atlas tank for example.

There are some specific perks and artifacts that make a huge difference. Sometimes you think you have good items but they are not enough.

Another thing you have to consider are premades. This game is FULL completely Full os premades with healers pockets, healing their girlfriend from far away, giving the impression the guy is immortal or good in pvp when he is actually a little chicken.

@shawnengr: You are correct. It smells like a fish factory.

When I find one of thees OP ass hates I flee or die. In open world they are uncommon. I almost never meet one unless I am on FFA island.
