Defiled rabbit foot Question

I think I noticed after the 5 per day limit on collecting rabbit feet is reached, the rabbit can still be killed and skinned, but does not yield any further loot sac. If this is true, and i do not remember what time i killed my 5th, how do i know when or what time can i begin the next day's 5? is there anywhere in Journal that lets me know when next cycle begins?

From what most of us understands, it resets at 5am with many of the global resets. After doing this hunt for two days, it seems to be correct.

They drop a storage expansion upgrade (very rare) and also some high grade meat (rare) that sells for like 90g on my server. out of about 50 rabbits I've gotten 2 of the high grade meat.

As for the event, its the foot that can be used as a luck potion, Diamond gypsum. and the chest. All can be dropped.

Skinning, you can get the sumptuous meat for cooking and a lucky foot for crafting. Both are t4 or above.

They base all their times on Pacific US unless they specify the zone. So 5am US pacific is my guess.

thanks .... maybe one more question? not sure if i am asking it clearly. I understand 5 Rabbit feet per day. What I am not clear on is, after i get my 5 rabbit feet and they stop dropping, if I continued hunting the defiled rabbits, could maybe rabbit 87 or 123 then drop the defiled chest? Or is the chest only dropped in the first five kills along with the rabbit feet? If its as rare as I imagine, my instinct is to continue hunting even thought lucky feet cycle is expired but maybe chest dropped many many many kills later, if at all.

Some get the chest in the first 10 kills. Some after 500. ME? I have over 1700 rabbits killed and no chest in 2 days :(

Some have killed more than I and still nothing.

We do not know the real answer. From what I see, it is truly RNG

The rabbits still drop the chest if you don't have one yet. Not 60, so can't speak to the gypsum. The chest will drop, even if you don't own a house (I don't).

The way it works with the chest, it is a 'loot' bag will drop next to the rabbit (just like any other loot bags that drop from combat, etc.).

I can't remember if I had the bonus from eating one of the daily rabbit's feet when my chest dropped.

As noted above there are benefits to skinning. You will not get the chest from skinning. Some have mentioned that skinning also helps rabbit respawn rate, but I don't know if that is true or not. As a new player that just hit 30 recently, I skin everything if I can carry it.

3 days, 2000+ kills, jumping from one unoccupied area to another, and it finally happens.

I was in the large NE farm just outside of FL. Rabbit populate that farm like crazy. In a single location between gardens 5-6 always spawn. I got my drop in that spot.

It drops white even if the drop is Epic. SO it can be easily mistaken as a skinning highlight. Especially if the angle is right.

All I can say is, just keep going and find a location that can be farmed easily.

Glad I got it done before the merge too. Valhalla would be insane during this event.
