Same game re released for console.
New servers starting up that both Pc players and Concole players can play on together with cross play.
But a better version in terms of having fixed some technical issues such as the massive memory leak on AMD cards, starting fresh on servers without the cheating of the first launch that completely killed the economy, improved character models and more parts to chose from in the editor, you get starting gear instead of being a ship wrecked mess as well as bonuses to get going faster on professions (marketed as classes, but it's really just bonus points), the whole main quest line is now presented in cutscenes and videos instead of standing next to the speaker in engine and rewards stuff that you actually need, many locations have been overhauled and new ones added.
Basically Aeternum is the version of New World we deserved back in 2021. And had it launched like this it might not have fallen off the cliff. But the elephant in the room is, the game is still the same and people will probably get bored again once the new shine wears of because the development team is clearly underfunded and did not get that many things along the way in three years in comparison with competitors.
