Show me again where that applies to any steam game, ever?
This isn't Xbox.
That is not what you said so don't even try it.
You were corrected and now seem all upset about it. Strange. This platform doesn't sale console games so stop trying to change your original comment.
"In the history of gaming, when have you ever seen a game given free for console simply because you bought it on PC?
I can't name a single time this has happened in the last half of a century of video games."
I like how you are so confident that you're right when you stated
The dude is so confidently incorrect that they actually believe themselves. Some people don't know how to take an L.
As far as the original post goes, it's been answered by some correctly, and others incorrectly. I think the general population knows.
that's awesome, thanks
Elder Scrolls Online in 2015 you were able to account transfer from pc to console when it first released on those platforms. Everything you had (membership, characters, etc) was transferred one way, one time. It DID happen unlike you are saying. I literally lost pc access, and got xbox access without having to pay the initial purchase cost. The greedy companies can do it, they just don't want to.
I never said it can't, I said it doesn't.
The fact that you can only name one occurrence pretty much confirms it's not something anyone should be expecting to happen. That's 1 out of a sample size of thousands of games.
You also didn't give an example of the direction that was asked for. I asked when have you seen it done from console to PC. Your example is PC to console.
Again, in either direction this was never a question of whether the technology existed, but whether it's ever used and your only example is 1 time, in the other direction from ten years ago.
Thanks for confirming my point.
