mouse and keyboard still does WAY better than controller aimlock

most weapons are projectile, not hitscan

meaning you can easily dodge aimlock, since aimlock puts the crosshair directly on the target, it is not leading shots = on distance u will miss lots of shots on a moving target

also no headshots for aimlock

i play controller on PC because it is relaxing, i can play laidback while smoking weed, eating nachos on controller

and not everyone has to take the game super seriously, its a MMO afterall, no eSports

why should i put "time and effort into improving" in a MMO which by design is unbalanced and not meant for competetive play?

if i want competition i do play other games

folks who flex their "skills" in MMOs are the most cringe gamers on earth,

I don't know if you just started up Aeternum, but let me quickly break it down for you.

Target lock is for consoles, and it's also on in pvp, so that consoles can rekt you in pvp. Otherwise consoles wouldn't stand a chance, and the game is for consoles now, so... It's also on in the pc version, because there is no "pc version," there is now only one version and it's actually the console version.

Graphics got downgraded for consoles, so consoles can run the game on their consoles. They're also downgraded in the pc version, because there is no "pc version," there is now only one version and it's actually the console version. So now the game looks like blurry trash for us.

UI got changed to console UI, so that consoles have console UI. They also changed the pc UI to console UI, because there is no "pc version," there is now only one version and it's actually the console version.

Okay? So now you hopefully understand that there is no New World Aeternum for pc, there is just New World Aeternum for console. We are all playing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ console game, and there is literally nothing we can do about it. Everything, every tiny aspect, every little unique quirk the game had, all gone and changed, to appease console. Have fun.
