Wth AGS. Apparently if a character has been offline for long enough, it can just be transferred to the fresh servers. This is going to be yet another economical catastrophe similar to what we had back on original game launch.

Those characters will be flooding the market with their gold and resources. How can you possibly mess up this bad?

Can't wait for an incoming wipe.

No, just tested with an offline character for several months, it didn't allow me to choose any of the fresh start.

It might be a bug with only specific servers that AGS wrongly labeled somewhere in their backend. But who knows which ones.

Just dam. As it turns out I have an unreserved toon to transfer to the fresh starts. It is only 13. I have been saving it in case a friend who quit wants to play again. lol. Just dam.

I was excited to play, but after managing to transfer my alt to the fresh server, I lost interest... even with an advantage it's very wrong...

What a surprise, of course AGS managed to screw it up and hilariously I just checked i'm not allowed to select the merged server on my Lv65 i'm only allowed to select one of the new servers because the new character I made to test it out is occupying the singular slot you're allowed. Fantastic failure AGS

This sounds like one of the few good decisions, since old servers are considered legacy now. Old players will just be stuck there, and no one is coming back after years to cut more wood.
