I'm perfectly okay with that. It's an MMO not a single player game. Even though we can pretty much play through the entire game solo, I don't think we should be able to cheese our way to the best grear. Group dungeons or PVP is perfectly fine in an MMO to get the best.

as a solo player, who cares about getting the absolute best gear? Finish the story then be done with the game like any other single player game? Or work on skills etc. You state you're a solo player but you want gear to run in multiplayer dungeons so you're contradicting your playstyle. There's no way with the higher gear you'd be able to do them solo anyways without some extreme RNG.

For anyone else who's reading this as a potential solo player, the story in the game is completely soloable all the way to level cap, if you decide to join in group activities they're available, but otherwise there's plenty of stuff to do as a true solo player.

The game is more solo friendly than it used be and it always has been solo friendly.

I've had good and bad experiences with queued expeditions, you won't get around that in any MMO.

You don't need a group for 725 gear in the FFA pvp area, you don't need the coconuts, you don't even need to go into the FFA area if you absolutely don't want to. But regardless you don't loose everything even if you are killed.

U can get 725 In CK with PvE and PvP, did u even play until 65?

Just grab the coconut and leave ffa zone. If you want more dubloons just loot chests near the entrances its basically risk free. Otherwise do pve quests in ck which is still really good. You don't lose it on death and it's guaranteed once per week from a hoard. As a solo player I recommend buying all your gear from the tp and use an artifact weapon upgrade to 725. All that can be done solo. If you dont want artifact wep i recommend farming 1800 dubloons and using first coconut to secure a 725 main wep. Im currently 697 gs from all bought gear with runeglass and 725 artifact wep. 0 groups besides 1 to farm artifact which is easy. Only thing I might do in group is run gorgon for hoplite gear.

I don't recommend blowing 1800 dubloons on 725 armor/jewelry unless you dont care about pvp perks, or just want to raid.

So? I'm 100% solo player, got 700GS and don't give a ♥♥♥♥. Making normal and mutated expeditions, group trials from time to time, farming, questing and having fun. But yes, dont buy if you are sweaty, min/maxing oriented nerd.

What part of let the thread die I dont care anymore did you miss? Uninstalling a bunch of stuff to play games in my backlog. New World got boring fast just like original release. NVM pvp que activities have all the old geared people from ancient servers where they have everything.

Just ride in get ur Nut takes like 5min. It doesnt disapear when you die. Get ur mystic key once a week do a dailie train in ck and u dont have to pvp at all. and u can get 5k dubloon a week minimum just doing that. stop whining.

I agree on the crafting part, the only redeeming factor will be that Crafters can actually make gear and put on Auction House. Even lvl 725GS.
So basically, you can buy or order highest GS gear later on. In a few weeks i imagine. (if you don't raid)
I have seen that they are selling already at some servers.

Getting a coconut once a week is just easy. Even if i had run down there naked i would have gotten it inside 30 min. So that's not a valid complaint.

Getting doubloons is easy as well, chest key once a week = 500
Doing a daily CK run will net you 1800 for next upgrade easy.
And you have like 15 PVE daily quests that give doubloon rewards.
No PVP needed.

Also remember to buy Goldcursed Epic Crates x 3 each day for easy upgrades. Can get 725GS gear in those.
