Is gear score watermark still a thing?
Because it looks like the gypsum gear crates are gone. So are they still a thing? Only available by doing Elite chest runs in Cutlass?

If you mean max gear score items of 725 then this is locked behind the raid or the well in cutlass keys.

Upgrading kit is far less of a drudge, to get max Gs you need to put in a little effort but nothing to bad. The original system was a time sync for sure.
