Worse with each patch....

I hope this isn't the same for everyone, but every patch since the relaunch is making new issues for me...

Still crashing trying to enter any expedition/trial/etc...
And now, since the last patch, I'm getting stuck in conversations, unable to leave...
If I try unstuck, I fall through the floor... if I recall to Inn, I'm under the map.

Having to continually leave and re-enter the game, and then it takes 5 minutes for the textures to load in.

Getting really bored of trying to enjoy this game...

There are many threads on this atm. Many of us are having issues. Those that don't, or say they don't aren't particularly helpful. But we don't know your rig specs, don't know if you have done the usual stuff like validating game, updating drivers, etc. But all that being said, I have now come to the realization that it's probably a leak somewhere in game.

If I play too long I get more and more problems with loss of animations, first for gathering then for fighting. But then also load in a bit slowly - not 5 min though. Reminds me a bit of the 70s, maybe they are back to dos with this game. Amazon saving money. Get the connection issue icon then reload my character and ping isn't bad at all, mid 50s. Or it might be 300. Checked my internet and speed and it's fine. Game is just a problem. And yes, drivers up to date for me. No news from devs that they know or care.

Read the other threads, they might help you. Also know that if you go in and change settings the game wont save them, you will have to go in and change them every time you log in. I would think AGS would be embarrassed at this point but it's just bizness as usual.

It wasn't that way on first game's launch.
Now, every time I log in, it takes minutes to textures to load and if I move I fall into the ground, its really anoying!! Congratulations Amazon, you turned a dead game in something even worst.

I found out if you don't have a really good m.2 ssd, then you're gonna have issues with crashes in this game. I have a WD Black SN850X, and crashes in New World are very rare for me. I have crashed only once trying to join an expedition, since Aeternum release. Also, this game still has a memory leak problem. You have to restart the game every 4-5 hours, or you're gonna stutter lag like heck lol

Yep. Last Hot Fix I lost all game audio. Worse, I now get now audio from any Steam game. Steam Store trailers are still ok. All other apps are ok. But magically it seems New World has trashed audio in all my Steam games. I even uninstalled Steam, then redownloaded Steam as well as my games. Still... no game audio. Thanks New World.

Yes the memory leak issue is visible. I can tell when I need to reload game as my animations no longer work for mining gathering and also my mages weapons just sit there. Guess it saves her arms from getting tired. LOL It was fine until the first patch after relaunch and it is steadily going downhill with every additional patch. Sad times.

All files verified.
All drivers up to date.

I've done all the regular fixes. But each patch that THEY release, makes the game run a little bit worse, and it's becoming annoying that I have to TRY to enjoy this game.

I'm with Wacken on this. I never had these issues on New World, but since the Aeternum update... it's just problem after problem.
