Faction Gear Skins?

You can unlock one faction gear skin (with tokens) and then change faction and use the skin of previous faction? My friends joined Covenant Faction but i like some of the armors from the Marauders Faction. I have other character on other server that is Marauder, could i buy the armor on that char, use token to unlock de appearance and use it on a character from the Covenant Faction?

you have to buy the gear for each faction seperately to unlock the skins and you can use the skins regardless of what faction your individual character is part of.

the transmog skins are account wide so yes, if you buy the gear and unlock it with tokens for the transmog system with your character on the other server you can use that skin with all of your characters on every server.

edit: it will let you unlock every armor part except of the helmet for every faciton seperately too but for the non unique lower rank heavy armor thats not really needed since legs, boots and arms look the same for every faction anyway so technically all you need is the chest if you already have the other pieces.

the low rank non unique medium armor looks exactly the same for every faction as far as i can tell.

the low rank light armor seems to have a few more unique colored pieces though.

ok thanks, then ill join Covenant on the fresh servers with my friends and use the old character from legacy servers to unlock Marauder skins :).

as everybody should have 4 char slots since aeternum release i would not forget to create a third toon also to join the syndicate because the magus tier provides the best magician cape and gloves with matching magic symbols available from all faction.
the next winter event can be done much safer for younger toons and have additional more skins and recipes availabe,i hope ags will be able to add more content than just a new emote.
2 toons are better than only one but 3 are a little bit more decent at least.

I always make some alts on mmorpg to se all clases etc... but on this one since you can do everything with just one char i didnt make any alts unless for the Fresh servers. Sadly on the first round of fresh servers only played till level 25. Hopefully with this new Fresh servers & relaunch of the game gona play a little bit more :)

One thing about the trasmogs, when you loot any new item you get that skin (permanently) on the wardrobe for unlock whenever you want with the trasmog tokens? even if you salvage/sold that item before unlocking?
