This game needs endgame PvE that's worth revisiting, and endgame PvP that isn't gatekept so heavily.
If youre looking for a friendly community, polished PVP and massive Endgame Content, you should take a look at Guild Wars 2.
+1 Agreed.
Also I saw a lot of hate against xbox users and ps users, Totally un-needed.
Dumb as frell to still have PvP control over element's of the PvE game loop. AGS appears to have learnt very little.
No surprise there.
Good for your company. I'm disgusted by my company and some others, because they are unwilling. and I see people bleed out of the server...
I believe their LOTR MMO will die in the same way, they just don't understand the market or gaming in general and never even tried to earn the trust of players. If New World showed anything it is that you cannot put any hope unto AGS.
This post was so accurate that I thought it was a new post, it was made months ago. After seeing how this game is managed, I will NOT be playing their LOTR mmo. Here is why I quit NW, I''m a PVE player and the only worthwhile content to run are 3 mutated dungeons on rotation and the Gorgon raid. The M3 dungeons doesn't have adequate loot even after the new update, and is extremely hard to get a group for. The best loot is in the Gorgon raid but unless you're part of a big company with competent players, its next to impossible to put a random group together. If you do get a group together, everyone will die at Echidna and rage quit without ever receiving a single piece of loot.
Most players now want a faster gaming time to level XP and it was made available. In comparison to when NW began and you really had to learn the game, play all the time to level up it appears that the novices now rule the asylum.
I am all for social integration with skills and that's why we have the M1-m3 dungeons so the beginners can learn, level up, get better gear and ultimately join in the additional aspects of the game. This includes wars, OPR, Hive, Wurm etc.
Yet a common occurrence is that some beginners (not all) won't simply help themselves and subsequently complain nonstop about the game and how it is imposed upon them.
