i dont know but i kinda like it this way to be honest, they also removed the requirenment to repair your gear

Because it was a pain in the ass and waste of time.

not really it gave guns a decent role and prevented the issue you have now of people just spamming rifles at distance.

Dying now is just a free teleport home. 😞

well i mean they could have combined both ways by just removing the requirenment for ammo but keeping the different ammo types for demage buffs.

but as i wrote i personally kinda like the way it is now.

If they removed the standard ammo and lowered the damage of rifles I wouldn't mind. Different ammo to add debuff or increase damage should have stayed. Because now I can just sit back with a rifle and spam 1 shot kills in pvp and pve

Dying has always been that way. Repair parts were always maxed.

Its a pain in the ass now cause you have rifle builds like mine that 1 shot in pvp just spam shooting.

People would just bring a ton of ammo to PvP and still spam wouldn't they? And if you're one shotting, 1 round per kill seems really minuscule. I don't think anyone using a rifle that doesn't want to die would be more concerned about how much ammo they use than killing the enemy anyway.

that is kinda what they did in the past lol. not to mention higher ammo types let you do more dmg in the past. without it the dmg is what ever the musket or bow is. makes it a bit easier to "balance"

they removed ammo? why am I making gunpowder?

i love the infinite ammo and the unbreakable gear. less annoying minutia, more fun.
CherokeeMan2000 Oct 24, 2024 @ 7:29pm
instead of dull ammo, they should have revamped the ammo system to be an added augmentation to the weapon, add poison damage, fire, and what not, no making ammo, all the time, just a one time slot on your musket or bow for added power.

not really now it just means musket builds are op or not worth using at all. Unless the entire musket and ranged weapon system is reworked from the ground up.
