It's the result of the botched patch on tuestday. If you look at the player graph, the re-release skyrocketed players and every day there was an upwards trend in more people joining up until including monday, 6 days after the big day. Which means people got actually pulled in by what they saw in Streams and read online.

But on patch day the peak number was 10k people less out of the sudden. And the next day another 2k less. Which probably can be read as people not willing to put up with major crashing issues on a three years old game, that does not get the "oh but it's still new give them time" buff of additional patience.

It's worth noting tho that OP failed to differenciate the numbers and makes it sound like a steady decline since re-launch. It is also worth mentioning that today's peak numbers aren't in yet and two days after a bad patch are a small sample size. So we have to be careful.

Game was terrible loading in after the fixit patch last week then I decided to update my Nvidia drivers which helped a lot. Not everything mind you but the no animation for gathering, chopping etc. Game is struggling.

Also you have to admit that the game rushes you to the end, gives too much experience (at least give us an option to slow it down so we can enjoy the journey) so you dare not do any side quests, and then there's nothing. Game over so folks leave to go do other things. The new PvP island is just sad, trials are a no show for most, connectivity is an issue. Crafting is turning out to be pretty worthless, again. Economy is already just daft. I'd almost welcome more bots to get pricing to make sense, no other way to sell junk to NPCs to make them toe some kind of line. Same old legacy players took about 47 minutes to take over the new economy. Same old, same old.

Rewards are boring for Halloween, and there's just not much to hold you in the game. Whole thing is a recipe for abandonment which is too bad.

I have had to reinstall the game to play it every single day. When I follow steps to "fix" issue, the game starts to initialize then waits for game at desktop. False load I guess. So yea, it's basically unplayable in its current state.

Welcome to the last 3yrs, you honestly think console release will be different? Most console players today are just players of past willing to dump another 60bux into the game. There might have been a %10 new player base on launch. Still the same players that will dwindle out as it 's realized they botched the game from the get and it will only continue to crash, things not work, and all the normal BS with the game will never falter. There s a reason why this game keeps relaunching, long as the same 9k players keep buying the game for banned bots and Max account selling they ll keep dishing out garbage patches to patch the patch, I see nothings changed , Even in Aeternum....Get rid of PvP,get rid of Faction control, get rid of Territory owning, make it a PVE 1-4 coop and maybe as I said 2yrs ago , Maybe they ll attract an new player base. MMO's are a dying breed and only a very few still hold on to them. New days call for the new game era Period. The game has G8 potiential , when they get rid of the force to play with 4-10 other people, or grind a pvp zone just to get sum offed loot.PvP again did not suceed . Cursed zones are dead with 3-10 players averaging in it and next to none pvp in the area. Artifacts that call for 50 lost kills in the pvp zone was a bad choice. Noone s barely chasing those artifacts. Say what you will, IK IK pvp is the game but stats dont lie, never have and pvp is a dead issue but for wars for gold farming guilds...........PS yes i play when not at work, until something new comes out hopefully 2025 will be a good gamers year
