Important: Mount Speed

I know some of you feel that the mount is super slow. I felt the same way.. until I did the race courses.

Each course completion gives you about 10 levels in "Riding". On the way to level 250 "Riding", you will hit milestones that will increase your overall mount speed. I don't remember which levels, but there are 4 speed upgrades. I highly recommend it. You won't regret doing them. Plus, you will get equippable rewards for your mount and new mounts you can ride as you progress.

The speed increase is every 50 levels. If you don't like/want to do the races, you can also increase your riding level by feeding the mount. It takes longer, of course, but it serves the purpose.

mount speed may be the difference between spotting a boss event marker and arriving just in time before another boss is melted from the wild hunt before you have dealt your part of getting the 3 daily chests.

Set a "Mount Charm" of your liking to add extra speed / stamina regen to buff mount even more

Mounts are really great in this game WHEN you boost them right ;)
