Halloween event feels off

I’m enjoying the game and liked the cosmetics I’ve earned so far, but the communication of the event seemed very odd:

1) There was no notification of the event when logging in, at least on my end. Just a page advertising the DLC.

2) When I went to the cauldron I couldn’t begin quests at all. I had to find out from the community chat that I need to be at least level 35 to participate in the event. No texts from the NPC at all to at least clarify this.

I was participating at lvl 23 or 24. Turn up, stay out the way of as much damage as possible, such as an outcrop of rock. I used what heals I could on the players doing the hard work, and tagged the boss with ranged damage.

I completed the event with no problem. So did other players who pretty much did what I had done. I dare say you could do the same at even lower levels.

Rewards where meh aswell 650GS is meh.

My last event on older version gave us Super duper Pickaxes at least or could give you.

It's extra disappointing when I've done it a year or two ago and when the event came back, there was nothing new to unlock. They could have at least thrown that twitch halloween cat in the vendor for 50 tokens or something

It's all very SWTOR - lazy and predictable. The rewards are just as bad too. This is what happens when you lift old coded events into the new and keep your fingers crossed that nothing breaks

the event only was a bit of disapointing because even with 3 sister on legacy i only got one of the chest pieces dropped after 2 day i really want circes dress as a skin asap.

You try ESO where they rotate the same content year after year. And make you buy loot boxes to get it. So much better to play the loot box lottery for things you missed the year prior. Meanwhile you get to dust the cob webs from your bank account for fluff that will get replaced the next month. IT sucks for me BIGLY because I have an addiction to collecting pixels.

read what I wrote man..i'm talking about the communication of the game event as a whole, not the actual event.

Yeah the costume being a potion was totally unrevealed. Had to wiki it. Level you can fight the boss, same. But also the rewards are boring. No cat, no broom, hardly anything witchy for house. Chair is ok but it is pretty poor offering for a game this old, and obviously nothing new. Oh well. Why are we surprised.
