Imagine everyone farming one type of ore/wood because you wont need that lower stuff anymore. =unable to farm, need to buy everything=everything expensive.
And lower materials are cheap and easy to farm.
Only problem with that is that currently every one needs all the ores/woods, instead of just one at their tier.
I still don't think they should change it but your argument doesn't really hold up.
That problem should be ameliorated over time though, shouldn't it? The longer the newer servers are up and running the more resources older established players will have stashed and up for sale and they'll be able to farm the lower level mats relatively quickly or just buy them from the newer players. Unless the server population just drops I suppose.
Hu? English is not my first language, so idk if my point was clear enough to understand.
But what you said is exactly what i mean, everyone needs those resources every time at any stage in game.
If you only need orich, for barcrafting everything below would at some point be useless.
and everyone that plays slow(or starts later) cant make money, or buy stuff since noone would be farming that.
That would lessen the impact of either mechanic, though, which was my point. If 1000 65s only need top tier or all tiers, they'll still need just as much top tier. Time will lessen the resource needs under either scenario, as well.
Care to back that claim up ?
it was never 'balanced around botting'.
