For me, easy - I'm not interested in another Korean-styled BS where my guide is a kawaii little whatever. Also, what the hell don't tell me they didn't borrowed UI from Lost Ark. So similar.

For me - New World. But that's my opinion. No ones gonna decide for you. Try both if you have a chance and see for yourself.

Both, play throne and liberty until you hit max level and do the adventure list then quit as it is hot pay to win garbage.

Play new world to end game, taste all the end game activities then quit when you get bored.

My suggestion is play neither and just watch Ashes of Creation videos on You Tube until 2025 before re-examining this issue. That's the most conservative approach.

I have recently played both... In fact the reason I am playing New World again is because of Throne and Liberty more so then the fact that New World just had a new expansion...

The whole time I was playing Throne and Liberty I was thinking to myself
A) I can't stand these controls they are clunky and make my experience bad
B) All this game is, ultimately is killing monsters over and over, the quality of the fishing, crafting etc all felt worse then New World

So Because Throne and Liberty's Crafting and fishing turned me off and its clunky controls I decided to go back to a game i felt was very similiar except the Crafting was better and the fishing was better and the controls were FAR better....

Only to find on return that while the above is still true the crafting and fishing and controls are all superior too Throne and Liberty.... I now find myself having to fight "Technical Problems" textures loading it, crashing etc I did not have to contend with when I way playing Throne and Liberty that game ran smooth as butter....

But I am still here in New World not Throne and Liberty because at the end of the day its "FUN" that matters and New World is just inherently more fun because the Crafting, Fishing and Controls are so much better then Throne and Liberty....

FYI understand I am an old gamer- who loves UO and SWG... I hate the Trend of Games for the last 20 years doing the whole WoW Recipe... I am sick of dungeons, I am sick of questing, I am sick of game play that revolves around endlessly killing mobs... In order for me to Enjoy an MMO it Needs good systems that ARE NOT Combat.... And sadly Throne and Liberty absolutely FAILS hard in having anything to do thats NOT combat....

I agree with all of this 100%, pretty much my situation, including being an old gamer lol. Throne and Liberty was fun for a couple weeks, but it just turned into me waiting on 10 different cooldowns in combat to reset so I could press a hotkey. I would still say TL is worth playing because its free, but New World is more of a long term game for me.

^ This. Unless you're in a whale guild, you have zero chance obtaining any decent gear as they farm all the spots.
