So let me see if I follow the logic. We relaunched the game as Aeternum. We then immediately do an event that locks out all those nice new players completely. Hm. Something seems ... stupid here.

Anyone locked out would presumably still be playing the game. Is Amazon supposed to stop all events until everyone is able to participate?

The only thing stupid I see here, is your post.
You dont even need to be high level to do the event. And you can still earn tokens and rewards just the same. Pretty easily too
But no get on Steam and whine about it because you are too brain dead to go into the game and figure that out yourself.

No, but it would make sense to delay it for a week or two, so more people can enjoy it.

Not everyone has all the fast travel points unlocked and there's A LOT of them to unlock....even if a lower level player attempts it, they won't make it on time before the group finishes off the boss and moves on to an even further location AND they'll be getting one shotted by the high level mobs that are roaming around on their way to the locations....so yes, you kinda do need to be higher level.

A delay in the event to give new players a chance would have been a better decision than just releasing the game and then locking out your new player base of their first event.

To say this post is stupid is quite......stupid.

I did one of the events about an hour ago, and my character was only lvl 24, and there were quite a few around my level and upwards. Staying on a rock outcrop, out of the way of spawns, stopped me taking damage and no lesser spawns bothered me up there.

I was throwing in what puny heals I could to the other players, and I used ranged weapons just to tag the main boss a few times. Ta-daaaaa, event completed, got a piece of purple armour I can't use until I'm lvl 62, but what the heck. No muss, no fuss. Play tactically, not dumb.

Absolutely right, it's almost impossible to do the event for me, now lv 40...

What a silly comment, Holloween happens rather people are able to participate or not. Not like they can move fall around until people have leveled.. SMH

they could have solved everyones concerns by having the event scale to player level down to say 20 or so as well as ensure there is 2 or 3 closer to starter zones Lv20+ for those players per day. Nobody would be complaining and a lot more playerbase could take part. I play on both PC and Console and the population's closer to lv30 than 65 for sure.

it last for a couple weeks if you can't level up in that time they must not have any time to play.

thats just objectively false, ive seen so many low levels 1-40 just putting a camp outside a bal spawn or using someone elses so dying does absolutley nothing, most spawns are already near most beginner area

The event has been going on for many years. Hurry up and get to 35 doesnt take that long and join the event. You could have gotten 10 lvls instead of complaining about the game

How did you do an event at level 24? I can't get the quests to activate when at the cauldron and i thought it was because I wasn't 35 yet (32)
