As it says in the description -
"For players on PC, access to the content in the New World: Aeternum update will depend on what New World products you have:
I have the New World base game and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion.
If you currently have the New World base game and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion, you will have access to all content in the New World: Aeternum update for free.
I only have the New World base game and not the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion.
If you currently only have the New World base game, you will have access to only some of the updates and content that launch with New World: Aeternum. To get access to all of the content like the new Raid, you will need to purchase the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion.
I don’t have New World yet on PC.
New PC players will want to get either the New World: Aeternum Standard Edition or New World: Aeternum Deluxe Edition."
(Editing the post without notifying me that you did (As if I check the thread without notifications :D) would've been better as a post, but ty :P)
Is this legit? Because I see multiple sources still selling the base game and the dlc separately.
So if I only get the base game it would activate as NW Aeternum?
No, old keys did not get updated. As far as I know only two places legitimately sell New World. If you buy from a grey market seller you are likely to get old stock and need to buy both parts seperatly.
Even if any third party keys worked, it would say New World: Aeternum, as it did for people that hadn't purchased the DLC. Aeternum added/changed things across the entire game but you only have access to changes to the parts you purchased. The product called New World: Aeternum priced at $60 is both the old base game and the DLC.
