is there any more to the fishing questline

I finished up to getting the nice fishing pole. Is there another fishing questline after that? It seemed way too short.

The king? That wasnt the king afaik. I think it was the girl's brother or boyfriend who was swallowed by Gladys the fish. No one mentioned a king. And yea a year ago the fishing quest was totally different and much longer. Unless Im missing something? Did I miss picking up a follow on quest from there?

yes, that guy is the fishing king man! But fr the end of the quest does seem to set up a follow up

You didnt miss any quest, they changed the fishing quest chain. A lot shorter now. Started brimstone sands today and so far no more fishing quests, last one was the one you mencioned where you get the legendary fishing pole.
