Is Angry earth the only DLC I'm missing if I originially owned this game?

Is there a DLC purchase required for anything that released recently with this update? Or is Angry Earth the only DLC I need to buy to have everything up to date?

I just made a post that it is not fair that owner of the Base-Game have to pay more with the DLC combined, than someone who just bought NW: Aeternum resently.
Yes you need Angry Earth to reach max. Lvl and to get a Mount, the DLC should be on Sale so people pay the same price for the same game, actually it's not.

How AGS manage this just shows how greedy they are or how brainless they are, or maybe both...

New players pay $60 for base game + expansion. Original owners paid $40 for base game if they bought at launch, or as low as $10 if they bought it on one of the many sales - such as when the original fresh start servers launched in 2022. Angry Earth costs them $30.

Even if you're paying a whole $10 more, the game is 3 years old. You're not being ripped off because a game has depreciated in cost over 3 years; that's just standard.

Should the DLC be put on sale? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. But this whole Aeternum launch is about bringing in the console base; the PC ship has largely already sailed.

Just wait until it goes full free to play they will be forced to at some point.

Just Angry Earth. Technically you don't even NEED to buy that. Doing so gives you access to mounts, the higher max level, and the flail if you really want it, but the Aeternum update itself doesn't require the DLC.

If you're planning to start a new character on a fresh start server (where most people are), I'd suggest just playing the game and getting to max level first. Don't buy the expansion if you're not even sure you want it. Plus with the Steam Autumn Sale about a month away, I wouldn't be surprised to see the expansion discounted at that point - if not sooner.

That's very helpful, thanks a lot. I won't mind buying this "Angry Earth" if at least can create a character that will look decent for while, so it's nice that I can try it before spending on it. That was my main reason for leaving the game ~3 years ago (they did not put much importance on attractive player character options)

So in a strange way I wish I could play long enough this time, to find out why I don't like this game. The longer it takes finding out this, the better it is (and I want to buy some nice outfits and weapon skins too, but don't have high hopes, from what samples I could find on youtube)

I do not get it , game say if i buy the standard or deluxe edition of aeternum i will not receive another copie of the game

so i own it or not ? (pre ordered the game at launch)
or do i only miss scorched earth
i am confused

because it look i own the base game but not the dlc of aeternum nor the earth one

We've already covered this multiple times, and the product page spells this out in the FAQ, but here we go again.

If you already own New World - IF IT IS IN YOUR GAME LIBRARY ALREADY - then you do not buy the standard or deluxe edition because you already own New World.

If you want to try the new 'Aeternum' update, just install the game and play it. That's it. Rise of the Angry Earth is optional, but you do have to buy that $30 expansion to use its features.
