weird icon on screen

got this weird icon on screen since the start of aeternum

anyone know what does it mean and how to remove it?

Yeah I got that too. Relogged and had a different one with an "unplugged" symbol. Later on, the trading post was acting buggy so I rebooted again. I can't get back in the game, as it's stuck loading now.

The unplugged one went away when I disconnected my controller while trying to use mouse.

mine was still there with both mouse and controller, and disconnecting the controller seems do nothing

Not sure but it seems to be indicating lag of some sort - input lag / internet connection. I had it a couple times when playing via WIFI but not wired.

i have the unplugged one on my screen while on a wired connection. cannot figure out how to get it to go away :(

definitely a connection error. They really should have a tooltip for it.. kinda pointless when you don't explain it to your players.

ya its just slow connection. i would get an exclamation point between two box frames sometimes as well. You can either wait it out or relog, usually fixes it.

SO MANY google searches and still NO results as to what any of these symbols mean. Agreed, Amazon devs are either not qualified or just lazy af

For this game I would suggest simple icon - two tin cans and a string. Everyone would understand that. Maybe could get a little payup from Campbell's. Who knows, game might finally pay for itself. Couple Raid cans for bugs. There could be some real money here.
