Teleport... quick travel.
I haven't played the PTR but apparently they're reworking a lot of the fast travel points and adding new ones so that may be less of a concern in the near future.
1)tp from anywhere to your house
3)trophies
2)decorating.
I wish we had more activities inside the house like mini garden or smth. If 10-20k gold is not a big deal sure buy a house. If you are planning to improve trade skills and craft make sure that your first house is in the city with tier 5 workbenches.
every player in game gets the first house at half price
so a T5 house of 20 k will be only 10 k
i would advice you to buy most expensive house first
you can add 4 x storage chests
its a must have
buy all houses T5 and add more storage also it allows you to add more trophies which is buffs for you any where in the game world
best places for a house is EVERFALL and WINDSWARD due to the markets..best competition for buying and selling
agreed. wish there was a lot more. At least you can lay on rugs sit in chairs and use the chests now. Thats something. but yeah outside the bonuses for trophies and the porting... really no reason to go to your own home :p which is kinda weird considering how much they cost to buy and keep running.
(oh yah you do get bonsues in your storage for placing chests in house as well. More expensive houses allow you to play more chests... add between 300-600 weight per chest to your storage bin.)
